Appendix A
Theron Randolph: The Doctor Who Discovered Causes
Theron Randolph, MD, was the leader of a movement that developed a new understanding of food and chemical allergies. He was one of the world’s leading health researchers and the author of over 300 medical articles and four books. He promoted the testing for, and avoidance of, delayed food and chemical allergies as the foundation of preventive care. In 1965 he cofounded of the American Academy of Environmental Medicine. Aware healthcare professionals, and others fortunate enough to have benefited from his discoveries, consider him the father of a whole new understanding of allergies and preventive care. Several of his discoveries turned out to be more important than those that were awarded Nobel Prizes.
